Studying working relationships
Early research by MacPaCC members revealed just how vital good working relationships are to the quality of supportive care - for example, relationships between community and sepecialist nurses, between doctors and nurses, and between general practices, hospitals and hospices.
A new qualitative study called "Unpicking the Threads: how generalist & specialist nurses work with patients, carers and each other in the community to support cancer patients" builds on the earlier work. Read more (pdf). You can also see Nigel King talking about the study here. |
